We have developed a high performance multi-functional phenol Novolac Resin For Railway Brake Blocks And Disc Brake Pads, having high melting point which are suitable for the manufacture of railway brake blocks for high speed trains, printing inks etc. , it was the result of our untiring persevarance & effort to develop the same for one of our customer based in australia & us, who is a world leader in the manufacture of asbestos-free brake blocks. Our phenolic resins have a higher melting point and glass transition temperature of which make them ideally suited in the manufacture of railway brake blocks and disc pads. We offer formulated products as per our customer’s specifications.

Salient Features:

• Ban – 099 is a high performance phenolic novolac resin capable of withstanding high temperatures.
• This is an ideal resin for making locomotive brake shoes.
• This gives superior drag performance as compared to standard powdered phenolic resins.
• This is replacement of cast iron to non aspastos composites brake shoes.
• Because of its high temperature performance producing very low odour while braking.
• This is very helpful  in emu / dmu application, where the frequency of the braking is high.
